All That Glitters Walkthrough - Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide - IGN (2025)

Your previous adventures with Aladdin saw you testing out Scrooge's security in "Good as Gold" and crafting your own flying carpet in "Bring Your Own Carpet." Now, in "All That Glitters," it's up to you to help Aladdin impress Jasmine by chasing down a valuable treasure! To unlock this quest, you need to reach Friendship Level 7 with Aladdin and have Belle, Ariel, and Maui as Villagers.

Pick Flowers For Jasmine

Talk to Aladdin, who explains that he wants to give a bouquet of flowers to Jasmine. He asks you to gather the following:

You need to actively pick the flowers during this quest - flowers you already have in your inventory will not count!

• Yellow Flower x 4 - any of Dandelion, Sunflower, Yellow Daisy, Yellow Nasturtium, or Yellow Bromeliad
• Purple Flower x 6 - any of Purple Bell Flower, Purple Falling Penstemon, Purple Hydrangea, Purple Impatiens, Purple Marsh Milkweed, Purple Rising Penstemon

Give the flowers to Aladdin, then watch him give them to Jasmine. She likes them, but compares them to the flowers in the palace garden, which disappoints Aladdin. He decides to give her a better present: a treasure, as Scrooge recently gave him an old treasure map that needs deciphering.

Follow The Treasure Map

The treasure map says to go to the "mermaid's isle." This refers to the island where Ariel was stranded before you rescued her. You can head there by interacting with the boat moored next to the small island off of Dazzle Beach.

Once on the island, Aladdin tells you to look for clues. Head to the right end of the island to pick up a sun-shaped piece that is sitting on the ground. Then, return to where the boat is moored to find a rock with a sun-shaped indent. Interact with the rock and place the star-shaped item inside.

Find The Pillar

Talk to Aladdin, who tells you that the next step is to look for a pillar. However, the treasure map is extremely ancient, and what was once a complete pillar is now in pieces. The pieces are located in the following places:

• The base of the pillar is at the left end of the island. You must dig it up three times using your Royal Shovel in order for it to pop out of the ground.

• The first piece is inside a barrel on the left end of the island. Walk up to the barrel and select "Open Storage" to claim the piece.

• The second piece is in the water next to the boat. You can fish it out using your Royal Fishing Rod.

Once you have both pieces, interact with the pillar to put them back and fully repair the pillar.

Solve The Pillar Puzzle

Interact with the pillar to find that it is covered with mysterious symbols. Aladdin suggests that you take a picture of the pillar and ask for advice from any Villagers who might know about it. Talk to the following:

• Ariel
• Maui
• Rapunzel (only if you have purchased the "A Rift in Time" expansion)

Unfortunately, none of them know anything. Head back to the island to find Jasmine there. Talk to her and she points out that the pillar is covered with strange symbols, and that its three parts can be rotated.

Interact with the front of the pillar to rotate the middle part, the left side to rotate the bottom part, and the right side to rotate the top part. You need to rotate the pillar so that the side facing Aladdin and Jasmine contains three images that form a story. The only set of three images that are connected to each other and form a story are:

Flower (Top) - Water Droplet (Middle) - Seed (Bottom)

This shows a seed being watered and growing into a flower. Once you have put the correct images in order, a Treasure-ful Tea Set appears!

Pick up the tea set, give it to Aladdin, and watch him discuss it with Jasmine. He finally realizes the truth: Jasmine doesn't care about treasure, she just wants to go on more adventures with him. (And yes, that does mean that you get to keep the tea set for yourself!) The quest concludes with the royal couple of Agrabah happier than ever before.

In Aladdin's final Friendship Quest, "Advanced Marketing," you can help him set up his very own Gem Stall in the Valley!
